Triple H speaks ahead of NXT TakeOver: Phoenix.
NXT will hold their latest TakeOver offering later tonight when they invade the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix. Earlier this week, Triple H held his pre-TakeOver media call. During the call, the NXT Founder and Senior Producer had high praise for three of his star pupils.
"Matt Riddle, it's hard to say enough good stuff about. He's a charisma force. He has an innate charisma that you can't take your eyes off him. He's just one of those guys. I think he'll continue to grow and move forward," said Triple H. "Bianca Belair is one who, all of sudden, came into her own. I think the Mae Young Classic was one of her first big matches. There was a conversation about, 'Do you think she can even do a match?' That's a dramatic change to where she is now. Shayna Baszler was super green walking into the door and is now carrying the division."
Belair and Baszler will square off for the NXT Women's Title at TakeOver: Phoenix. Meanwhile, Riddle will for the hat trick against Kassius Ohno.
