Triple H Confirms Winners Of 2026 Elimination Chamber Matches Will Get World Title Matches At WrestleMania 42

Triple H has confirmed that the winners of the 2026 Chamber matches will go on to WrestleMania 42 in title bouts.

In recent years, two world title matches at WrestleMania have been decided in Elimination Chamber matches for both the women and the men, with the titles being decided by whatever main roster world championships the Rumble winners do not choose to pursue. Now, Triple H has confirmed that will once again be the case in 2026.

While speaking on ESPN ahead of the 2026 Royal Rumble event, Triple H spoke about the road to WrestleMania, confirming that the Chamber event will once again feature number one contender matches.

“Yeah, as you guys are talking about the NFL and the playoffs and that road to the Super Bowl and how exciting that gets, the Royal Rumble starts that road to WrestleMania, and if you look at that as our playoffs, now the states get big. The winners of the Royal Rumble go on to face the champion of their choosing at WrestleMania in a main event. The winners of next month’s Elimination Chamber will do the same. So you’re sort of in that playoff mode now where the stakes do not get any bigger. Everybody is bringing their A game. This is what they ramp up for all year long, and t all leads them to WrestleMania in Las Vegas in April. You know, it’s as big as it gets.”
