Triple H Discusses John Cena Or Main Roster Wrestlers Potentially Appearing On NXT

Triple H says a NXT and main roster crossover is possible.

After the United Kingdom tournament was filmed, Triple H and Shawn Michaels talked with press about the growth of NXT. One reporter asked about John Cena coming down to NXT or the possibility of a NXT and main roster cross over pay-per-view.

“I think that there’s opportunity for anything,” said Triple H. "Look, we’ve seen guys come down and work in NXT before or move over to do stuff like that.  That’s not beyond the realm of a possibility especially if someone really wants to do it,” he continued.

Cena was brought up because of his recent comments about Velveteen Dream. While Triple H said getting Cena on a show could be expensive, he said there's value in Cena mentioning NXT stars like Velveteen Dream.

"The value in him saying that and the interest level to me that we are creating that a guy like Cena goes 'man, that is so cool. I'd love to do that.' The fact Rock is talking about Ricochet or Cena is talking about Velveteen Dream...it makes the world pay attention,"  said Triple H.

The comments by Triple H can be heard in the video above from GiveMeSport.
