Triple H On Ronda Rousey: When She Is Ready, Of Course We Want Her Back

Whenever Ronda Rousey is ready to return to WWE, WWE is ready to welcome her back.

Fans haven't seen Rousey in a WWE ring since losing to Becky Lynch in the main event of WrestleMania 35 in a triple threat match that also featured Charlotte Flair. Rousey recently made headlines when she called wrestling "fake fighting," stirring up fans and the women's locker room. But it is unknown when she will return to the ring.

Speaking to TMZ, Triple H was asked about Rousey's current WWE status.

"Ronda is at a place in her personal life where she is figuring some things out. The thing with Ronda is you never know what she is saying. Is she 'attacking the business' really or is she attacking the business because she knows that will light up fans that love the business? You'd have to ask her," he said.

"Of course we (want her back). She's been one of the greatest performers for us, ever. She picked [wrestling] up so incredibly quickly. When you look back at what Ronda did with us. The brief period of time she was with us, her first match was at WrestleMania. Talk about pressure. And she totally killed it. She gets into a place where she's doing it on a regular basis, every week on live TV, going out there and stealing the show a lot of times. I've never seen anybody pick it up...I used to think Kurt Angle picked it up faster than anybody I had seen in my life. She picked it up faster. Her instincts were just...even in training, she'd do something, you'd correct her, 'here's why,' she'd go, 'okay, great, got it.' Then, done."

Triple H went on to praise Ronda's work ethic when she was in WWE before concluding by saying, "When she's ready, we still have a great relationship and when she's ready, absolutely."

Rousey's contract with WWE runs through April 10, 2021.

Should Rousey return to WWE, she may have to apologize for her "fake fighting" comments directed at WWE. Alexa Bliss recently said Rousey would be welcomed back, but an apology may need to come with her. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
