Triple H Says John Cena’s Last Match Was Highest Grossing WWE Arena Event Ever
WWE held the latest edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13 from Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. The event was headlined by John Cena competing in his last match.
After the event, Triple H announced that the show was the highest grossing WWE arena show in history and the highest grossing event ever at Capital One Arena.
“Thank you @CapitalOneArena! Tonight’s #SNME was not simply the highest grossing @WWE
arena event ever, but highest grossing event ever at Capital One Arena,” he wrote.

Triple H appeared at the end of the show after John Cena lost his last match to Gunther. He was greeted by boos and “you fucked up” chants.
