Triple H Wants To Find, Recruit, And Train Talent From Saudi Arabia

Triple H discusses plans for Saudi Arabia.

WWE was in Saudi Arabia for a few days last week, commencing with Super ShowDown on Friday. When Triple H wasn't in the ring battling long-time rival Randy Orton, he was making the media rounds as Executive Vice President of Talent in WWE and Founder of NXT.

Speaking to Ring Rules, Triple H was asked about bringing an NXT TakeOver event to Saudi Arabia. Triple H steered away from the question but did provide the following insight.

“The goal is to be able to find talent here, recruit talent here, train talent, and to build something on the ground here. Whether that’s bringing NXT TakeOver here or that’s building a brand here will yet to be determined. That depends on how quickly we can find talent and train them.”

One talent from Saudi Arabia who has already made an impact in WWE is Mansoor, the winner of the 50-man battle royal at WWE Super ShowDown.

WWE has a 10-year strategic multi-platform partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority that sees the company head to the country twice a year.
