Triple Threat Match For Mandy Rose's NXT Women's Championship Set For NXT New Year's Evil 2022

The NXT Women's Championship will be on the line at NXT New Year's Evil.

It was back at Halloween Havoc that Mandy Rose defeated Raquel Gonzalez to win the NXT Women's Championship. On that night, however, Mandy received a helping hand from a returning Dakota Kai, Raquel's former best friend who has since pulled her attention away from a title rematch.

On the December 21 episode of NXT, Raquel defeated Dakota in a street fight and then called out Mandy Rose. Instead of the champion, Cora Jade came out and said that she wants the belt, citing her victory over Rose a few weeks ago. Raquel said she would go through anyone, even one of her friends to get her belt back.

Mandy then appeared on the tron and said that she will defend her title against both women at New Year's Evil on January 4. Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne then snuck up from behind Raquel and Cora and attacked them with kendo sticks and put them through tables.
