Trish Stratus Explains Why She Turned On Becky Lynch, Says She's Not A Nostalgia Act On 4/17 WWE Raw

Trish Stratus wants to remind everyone that she's the greatest of all time, and she changed the game.

Many fans around the world of wrestling were shocked when Trish Stratus attacked Becky Lynch on the April 10 episode of WWE Raw after the two lost the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Stratus, Lynch, and Lita had been a team of their own in recent months, as the three women came together to fight Damage CTRL (Bayley, IYO SKY, & Dakota Kai) at WrestleMania 39.

On the April 17 episode of WWE Raw, Stratus explained her attack. The WWE Hall of Famer came to the ring with a new entrance video, and she was wearing throwback gear.

She recalled how she changed the game by helping turn women's wrestling into what it is today. Stratus described how fans chanted "This is awesome" when Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey main-evented WrestleMania 35, but they should have chanted "Thank you, Trish." She stated that Becky Lynch acted like the Four Horsemen began the Women's Evolution was a joke.

Stratus made it clear that she came back to see if Lynch believed her own hype, and "The Man" never thanked her. Stratus said that she was nobody's sidekick, and she had to put Lita out of her misery, which is why she attacked her. She noted that she needed to make it crystal clear that she was the one who screwed Lynch out of the titles.

Stratus said that she's not Lynch's friend, and she's not a nostalgia act. She then called herself the greatest of all time, and the most important figure in the history of WWE.
