Stratus is a WWE Hall of Famer who is no stranger to coming out of retirement, having faced off with several stars of the latest generation of women’s WWE stars, including Becky Lynch in 2023.

While speaking to the Michael Fairman channel in a new interview, Trish Stratus reflected on her heel turn in 2023, noting that Becky Lynch was the ‘perfect babyface’ for her to be a bitch to.

“When I first came back in 2023, we’ve done the babyface comeback, I’ve come back and they’re cheering me and they’re excited to see me, and nobody expected that (heel turn), and that’s what I love doing. I love the unexpected and so when I came back and I was working with Becky and I knew, like, she was the perfect babyface to be a bitch to and to turn on, and then bringing in the bestie so that I could turn on her with all those years of history. That’s juicy to me. I love it.”
