Trish Stratus: There's Still Time For A Match Against Alexa Bliss

A bout between Trish Stratus and Alexa Bliss is still a possibility.

Multiple changes were made to Stratus' WWE Evolution bout leading up to the event. She was originally scheduled to face Bliss in a singles bout, which was considered a dream match by many. However, WWE changed the bout to a tag team match that included Lita on Trish's side and Mickie James on the side of Bliss.

Unfortunately, a week before the event, Bliss suffered an injury and was pulled from the tag team showdown. Bliss still appeared at WWE Evolution, but was replaced in the match by Alicia Fox.

Speaking to Phillip Martinez of Newsweek, Trish had nothing but praise for Alexa and still believes a bout with Bliss is on the table.

“[Alexa] is very strong in the ring, with her promos kind of what my thing was," she said. "It would have been very special. Who knows there’s still time, but working together these past few weeks has been a real pleasure to work with another athlete. She’s a great gal and she does amazing things in the ring.”

Stratus' appearance at the first-ever all-women's pay-per-view was not a one-off. She was back in the ring the next night on Raw, competing in 10-woman tag team action
