Troy Donovan is gone from WWE.
Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan, who was a part of the NXT roster and recently competed successfully at the In Your House live event, has been released by WWE as of Sunday, June 12, 2022. As first reported by Dave Meltzer, Donovan violated a WWE policy. Details of the policy violation have yet to be revealed.
Donovan's release was later confirmed by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp.
I can confirm Wrestling Observer's report that NXT talent Troy Donovan has been released by WWE. I've not heard of any additional releases as of yet— Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com (@SeanRossSapp) June 13, 2022
Donovan was signed to WWE in March of this year and quickly became a part of NXT TV as part of the Tony D'Angelo family. Prior to being signed with WWE, he had wrestled briefly on the independent circuit, including being on the losing end of a handicap match against Paul Wight, the former Big Show, on AEW Dark back on October 23, 2021
We will continue to monitor and report any and all updates on Donovan's release.
