Tully Blanchard Confirms He's No Longer With AEW Or ROH, Says Wrestling Career Is 'Probably Over'

Tully Blanchard is seemingly done with the wrestling business.

Blanchard joined AEW in July 2019 and was a regular part of television as the manager for members of The Pinnacle and FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler). He was fired by FTR in March 2022 and started Tully Blanchard Enterprises in Ring Of Honor, putting together a group of Gates of Agony (Toa Liona and Kaun) and Brian Cage.

At ROH Death Before Dishonor 2022, it was revealed that Prince Nana had purchased the group and reformed The Embassy.

Speaking on Two Man Power Trip, Blanchard confirmed he is no longer with AEW or ROH.

"I'm no longer with AEW or Ring of Honor or any subsidiaries thereof. That sounded pretty legal, didn't it? I would imagine that my wrestling career is probably over other than doing autograph shows and things like we did in Nashville. I don't know how many retirement matches, last matches, (Ric) Flair can have," he said.

Asked if his contract had expired, Tully said, "No, it was a little more complex than that, but my contract is up and I’m gone."

Tully noted that he didn't see Flair's last match live and that he wouldn't comment on it because he would have nothing nice to say.

"I personally, would prefer my last match, unfortunately AEW talked me into one, but before that, most of my matches, I think I only wrestled six or seven times after my full-time career, and people's memories are of me, me and Arn, me and the Horsemen and back in those days when I could actually do it. I can't do it anymore. I was asked to do a last match with Ricky Steamboat and said, 'I'm not going to embarrass myself and go out there and not be able to do what I used to do.' Just watch the videos," he said.

Blanchard wrestled on the March 3, 2021 episode of AEW Dynamite, teaming with FTR to take on Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus & Marko Stunt). Prior to that match, he had not wrestled since 2007. He did send in a video message for Ricky Steamboat's last match.

The Embassy (Bishop Kaun, Brian Cage & Toa Liona) are the reigning ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions.
