Two More Names Advance In AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament On 10/23 AEW Dynamite

Two more competitors have advanced to the semi-finals of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament.

In the opening bout of tonight's AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson faced off against Dustin Rhodes. The American Dragon controlled the early portions of the match, targeting Rhodes' lower body with submission holds. Dustin would fight back, but it wasn't enough to overcome Bryan who would eventually put The Natural away to advance in the tournament.

The second tournament match was between Eddie Kingston and Lance Archer. The Murderhawk Monster was in control until a scary moment in which he landed on his head after attempting a moonsault. He was checked by the doctor before rolling into the ring and quickly being rolled up by Eddie for the pin.

Kingston and Danielson will go head-to-head in the next round.

Fightful will keep you updated on Archer's medical status.

On the October 22 episode on AEW Rampage, Orange Cassidy was the first wrestler to book themselves a spot in the semi-finals when he defeated Powerhouse Hobbs. He will face either Jon Moxley or Dark Order's 10. That matchup is set to take place this coming Wednesday, October 27, on AEW Dynamite.

The tournament will conclude at AEW Full Gear on November 13. The winner will receive an AEW Championship opportunity.
