Two Women Advance in WOH Title Tournament, Finals Date Set

Ring of Honor's first ever Women's Championship picture is coming into focus more and more by the day.

At ROH 16th Anniversary, the opening round of the tournament was completed, and the quarterfinals got underway. In addition to that, Ring of Honor announced that the semifinals and the finals would both take place on April 7 at the Supercard of Honor show during WrestleMania weekend.

The show will kick off with the two semifinal matches on the pre-show, and the finals will take place on the pay-per-view portion of the program, with the winner being crowned the first ever ROH Women of Honor Champion

Sumie Sakai defeated Hana Kimura on the ROH 16th Anniversary pre-show, and will go on to face Kagetsu in the quarterfinals. Other matches that were set for the quarterfinal round going into tonight's show were Mandy Leon vs. Kelly Klein, and Mayu Iwatani vs. Deonna Purrazzo.

Tenille Dashwood, formerly WWE's Emma, already has her card punched for April 7th. She was able to defeat Brandi Rhodes in the first quarterfinal match.
