Tye Dillinger was something of a fan favorite in NXT.
"The Perfect 10" got a numeral over with the crowd, and he did it to such a degree that the crowd absolutely tore the roof off the place whenever he made an entrance into Full Sail Arena.
The response extended to Live Events, even those on tours far from his Florida hometown crowd. When he entered the 2017 Royal Rumble (at Number 10, of course) the packed house at the Alamo Done lost their ever-loving minds.
Since coming up to the main roster, he's been used sparingly, but he's still a fan favorite, getting big pops from the crowd wherever he goes.
Last night, he went back home to NXT... kind of. He made a surprise return as a competitor in the first match of the night at the Rochester live event, and it's nice to see that some things never change.
Still as over as ever.
Really warms the heart, doesn't it?
