Tyrese Haliburton Hits Stunning Shot, Leads Indiana Pacers Comeback Over New York Knicks

WWE couldn’t script this.

Tyrese Haliburton led a furious Indiana Pacers comeback over the New York Knicks to steal Game One of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals.

Haliburton hit a long two at the buzzer to send the game to overtime. It looked like Haliburton’s shot, which hit the back rim before boucing up and in, was going to be the game-winner, but his foot was on the line.

Haliburton paid homage to Reggie Miller after the shot, putting his hands around his throat to indicate a choke job by New York.

In overtime, Haliburton and the Pacers were able to stave off Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks to win 138-135

The Knicks led the game 121-112 with 52.5 seconds left in regulation.

Haliburton finished with 31 points and 11 assists. Brunson had 43 points and five assists for the Knicks.

Haliburton appeared on Monday’s WWE Raw to preview the showdown with the Knicks. He is set to be a playable character in WWE 2K25.

Pat McAfee and Michael Cole have a bet on the series where if the Knicks win, McAfee has to wear a suit, and if the Pacers win, Cole has to wear a tank top.
