The Undertaker is headed to Starrcast.
The news of Undertaker being booked for Starrcast II was first reported by Sports Illustrated on Thursday afternoon and officially confirmed shortly after.
The organizer of the event, Conrad Thompson, told SI, “The Undertaker is synonymous with wrestling and generations of wrestling fans have grown up with The Undertaker. We wanted to bring something unique to Las Vegas, and there isn’t anyone more special in this business than The Undertaker. The Undertaker experience is its own standalone experience at Starrcast."
The Undertaker made headlines earlier this month when it was reported that he would begin to take bookings outside of WWE. He is reportedly charging $25,000 per hour for an appearance. He also posted the following photo on Instagram this morning, leading to speculation on what could be next for him:
Starrcast II is scheduled to take place on Memorial Day weekend in Las Vegas, the same weekend as AEW Double or Nothing, which is scheduled for May 25.
The Undertaker joins the likes of Bret Hart, Ric Flair, The Elite and more as those scheduled to appear. Special panels include Lita’s Panel On Women’s Wrestling: The Past, The Present, The Future and Crazy Like A Fox: Remembering Brian Pillman.
Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday at noon. You can find more information here.
