The Undertaker almost certainly retired at WrestleMania 33. Since then we haven't heard anything from him. Until now.
Yesterday, he made his first (probable) post-retirement public statement. And it was about country music. George Strait to be precise.
The Dead Man wore a giant cowboy hat. We shouldn't be too surprised by this.
Apparently Mark Calaway is a huge fan of Strait, who he calls "King George" in this video, tweeted out by the country signer.
"If you look at his whole catalog of albums and songs," Taker began, "there's a song for anything that you may be going through in your life. For me, right now, for where I'm at in my career and my life, 'Troubadour.' It hits me, and it hits me hard. I get chills every time I hear it."
It is an appropriate song for Taker right now. 'Troubadour,' released in 2008, is a ballad about a man who lived his life to the fullest and is content with his accomplishments now that he's near the end of his road.
