Undertaker Talks His Role In AAA, Wanting To Help Out With Production Value And Storytelling

The Undertaker discusses his role with AAA.

Much has been made of ‘The Deadman’ and his role with AAA in recent months, especially after Triple H noted that he was a “driving force” for the company back in August 2025.

Speaking with Cody Rhodes on the latest episode of What Do You Wanna Talk About, Undertaker went into some of the specifics of his role, saying that he taking elements from WWE to add to the AAA product.

“Yeah, helping out with creative and doing some stuff with AAA. My vision is to almost take a step back to step forward. I’m really high on the physicality and the in-ring stuff making sense, which is kinda difficult with where I’ve come from and working with AAA. The Lucha Libre legacy is incredible. There’s this guy who has a son, who has a son, it’s all this legacy and all this culture is in there. What we’re trying to do is honor that but give more production value to the product and help story tell a little better. I think that’s the biggest thing. We’re talking about incredible athletes and the things that they do is amazing and the following that they have is amazing. So, if I can take the best of Lucha Libre and the best of what I know and I can mold them together, I think we’re gonna have something that’s really special down there. I’m not trying to make AAA into Raw or SmackDown or WWE. I’ve taken some elements of that, adding it to what they already do, and trying to make a product that everyone will want to see. It’s an alternative. It’s just like the other company, Raw, SmackDown, TNA. It’s just to give people a variety of things to enjoy about wrestling.”

Earlier this month, Undertaker and Bruce Prichard recalled an argument that they had after the Montreal Screwjob. Fans can check out that full story by clicking here.
