Half of the semifinal field for the 2020 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic has been filled.
The first live episode of NXT of the year saw two first round matches in the tag team tournament. In the first matchup, Imperium defeated The Forgotten Sons, who were finalists in last year's tournament. With the win, Imperium will face the winner of Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne vs. Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster in the semifinals.
The other tournament match that took place on NXT was between Undisputed Era and Gallus, with Undisputed Era picking up the victory. With the win, Undisputed Era will face the winner of Grizzled Young Veterans vs. KUSHIDA & A mystery partner in the semifinals.
