The Usos Are Confident That Their Streak Of Not Being On WrestleMania's Main Card Is Coming To An End This Year

That "Day-One" ish is going to get Jimmy & Jey on that WrestleMania ish'.

With their new attitudes and new attire, some feel that The Usos have not only been the best tag team in WWE, but arguably the best in professional wrestling. The current SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions have made it clear that they have one goal in mind and that is to get on their first WrestleMania card as part of the main show. The champs talked with the Pensacola News Journal and made it clear that their 9-year streak of missing out on Mania' is coming to an end next month.

"I don't think it could happen, it's gonna happen. Me and my bro keep saying, 'This is the year,'" said Jey Uso, "And if for some reason we're not on the main card, we're doing the people wrong man. The WWE Universe ain't getting their money's worth. We're the best thing running right now, straight out the 8-5-0, right down the street from WrestleMania man."

Towards the later end of 2016, Jimmy & Jey dropped their signature face-paint and stopped caring about what the fans thought of them. They took their careers into their own hands and decided to turn it up a notch, and every opportunity they received, a statement was going to be made from it.

"The heel change would have never worked if that baby face phase didn't go as long as it did," Jey Uso stated. "The heel change just made it more real. We get to be us, we could talk the way we want to, dress the way we want to, it was like the ball was in our court now and it took a lot of hard work to finally get the ball, you feel me?"

Jimmy Uso shared that every year, he and his brother are so focused on flying family in and securing their hotels for the city that WrestleMania is taking over. But this year, the duo is not so focused on that as they are locked in on being the focal point in New Orleans on April 8th.

"Every year we're flying people in, thinking this will be our year, but like I was just telling my brother, I don't think I'm flying anybody in," said Jimmy Uso, "I think I need to take this time to really bunker down. I'm just gonna focus. This year is it man. I don't wanna have no distractions."

At the WWE 'Fastlane' PPV, The Usos and The New Day had their contest put on pause by the Bludgeon Brothers. The following SmackDown, the remaining member of The New Day, Big E, and the remaining Uso, Jimmy, attempted to avenge their brothers who were dismantled by Harper and Rowan.
