Velveteen Dream Deletes Tweets After Asking Fans To Spam WWE To Call Him Up

Velveteen Dream wanted to see if the WWE Universe truly had the power to influence decisions.

During last night's episode of Raw, the McMahon family stated that, in repsonse to the poor rating, they will begin listening to fans and that the WWE Universe is now the authority in the company. Later in the night, the company announced that six members of the NXT roster will be called up to the main roster in the near future. Those names include Lars Sullivan, Lacey Evans, Heavy Machinery, Nikki Cross and EC3.

With his name absent from the list, Velveteen Dream asked fans to spam WWE accounts on social media, asking for the Dream to be called up.

Dream has since deleted the tweets, and all tweets, from his account.

Dream famously wore tights that read "Call me up Vince" at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV in his bout against EC3. You can view the tights in the video above. In the media call after the event, Triple H stated that he admired Dream for going out on a limb and taking a risk with his tights.
