Velveteen Dream Returns To NXT For The First Time Since October 2019

The Dream is back on NXT for the first time in months.

At the end of the February 5 episode of NXT, when the Undisputed Era and Matt Riddle, Tommaso Ciampa and Pete Dunne were having a massive brawl, Dream arrived to helped fend off the Undisputed Era.

Most notably, Dream set his sights on Roderick Strong, the man who beat Dream to win the NXT North American title on NXT back in September. That match also ended up being Dream's last in NXT as he had been recovering from a lumbar injury with his last appearance taking place in October 2019. On Dream's tights was the message "Call Me Up Marina," a reference towards Marina Shafir, who is Strong's wife.
