The Viking Raiders Attack Drew McIntyre And Sheamus After 1/6 WWE SmackDown Goes Off The Air

Drew McIntyre and Sheamus lost the main event on the January 6 episode of WWE SmackDown, but their night went from bad to worse after the show.

On Friday night, McIntyre and Sheamus challenged The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. The match broke down into chaos due to the interference of Solo Sikoa, who was answered by the arrival of Butch and Ridge Holland. In the end, The Usos stole the win with a sneaky pin.

After the show went off the air, The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) came to the ring and laid McIntyre and Sheamus out with a seemingly unprompted attack. They brutalized the former world champions and left them lying while Valhalla looked on.

As of this writing, The Viking Raiders have not wrestled since the December 16 episode of SmackDown, according to Cagematch. They lost a #1 Contender's Triple Threat Match in which Hit Row (Top Dolla & Ashante "Thee" Adonis) scored the win over Erik & Ivar and Legado del Fantasma (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde).
