According to Brandon Ross of Lightshed and Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, McMahon is also leaving his position as head of creative.

Fightful Select reported that WWE sources have indicated the same regarding Vince's status as head of creative.

When McMahon voluntarily stepped back as WWE CEO on June 13, it was stated he would "retain his role and responsibilities related to WWE’s creative content." McMahon appeared on the June 13 episode of WWE SmackDown and subsequent episodes of WWE television.

McMahon has overseen WWE creative since he purchased the company from his father in 1982. He has also been an on-screen character as an authority figure and wrestler.

A new head of creative has not been officially named. Bruce Prichard has served as executive director of WWE Raw and SmackDown since June 2020. Triple H was named EVP of Talent Relations on July 22.

Fightful will give more details regarding Vince's decision and WWE's creative direction when more is known.
