Vince McMahon: Going Into WrestleMania, We Have Exactly What We Want

WrestleMania is two months away and Vince McMahon believes things are exactly where they need to be for WWE.

Speaking on the 2019 fourth-quarter earnings call, Vince was asked about the creative aspects of WWE. Vince was asked about the influence of Bruce Prichard and Paul Heyman have over their respective brands, and while he didn't directly address their contributions, Vince did discuss some storytelling aspects going into the biggest event of the year.

WWE NXT (4/23) Records Highest Viewership Since January Against Competition From The NBA Playoffs

"We think that what we've done thus far in terms of television ratings and higher production value, better storylines, allocation of our top talent and at the same time, bringing on new talent, is paramount. You can see again with the ratings, the current ratings notwithstanding, there's growth there. At one time, we had a lot of talent that was injured. We don't have that right now. It takes a while to be able to put everyone in the right place, the right storyline. And going into WrestleMania, we think we have exactly what we want, and going forward as well," said Vince.

As of now, the only bout official for WrestleMania 36 is the WWE Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre.
