Vince McMahon Involved In Car Accident, Received Summons For Reckless Driving
Vince McMahon was involved in a car accident on the same day Hulk Hogan passed away.
According to a recent report by TMZ, former WWE CEO Vince McMahon was involved in a car accident. The outlet described the accident as “bad,” and his 2024 Bentley was “mangled.” However, no serious injuries were reported. It is said that the accident occurred early Thursday morning, July 24, 2025, just hours before news of Hulk Hogan’s passing broke.
Vince McMahon’s 2024 Bentley was heading north on Route 15 in Westport, Connecticut, when it struck a 2023 BMW 430 and collided with a wooden-beam guardrail. The crash reportedly scattered debris across the highway, which was then hit by a third vehicle, a southbound Ford Fusion. The impact was strong enough to deploy airbags in both the Bentley and the BMW. All three drivers were wearing seatbelts, and each vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
McMahon received a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving and following too closely, leading to an accident. He is scheduled to appear in court in late August 2025.
Later that day, Vince McMahon would release a statement on the passing of Hulk Hogan. Fans can read that statement here.
Fightful will continue to monitor the story and report any updates.
Vince McMahon stepped down from WWE/TKO in January 2024 following a lawsuit filed by former employee Janel Grant, who accused him of sexual assault and sex trafficking. The case remains ongoing.
