Vince McMahon Praises Jeff Hardy’s Performance At Backlash 2020: That Was F---ing Awesome, Holy S--t!

Despite the years of wear-and-tear and the ?bump card? that is incredibly overfilled, Vince McMahon is still singing the praises of Jeff Hardy in 2020.

Currently, Jeff Hardy is a member of the SmackDown brand and is engaged in a rivalry with Sheamus that is all about Jeff Hardy righting the wrongs of his past and facing his demons.

The first one on one pay-per-view encounter between the two rivals took place at Backlash 2020, in a match where Jeff Hardy came out the loser but may have been the real winner at the end of the day.

In a clip from the latest episode of WWE Chronicle, Jeff Hardy is walking backstage after his match and is immediately greeted with tremendous praise from both Bruce Prichard, Executive Director of both WWE brands, and WWE chairman, Vince McMahon.

?Fucking great, man! Thank you,? Bruce would say before Vince would start to speak over him.

?That was fucking awesome, holy shit,? Vince would say before Jeff Hardy would explain that he was starting to feel blown up by the end of the match. ?Oh, God damn! The [indecipherable expletive] it was really good.?

Also in the video, Jeff Hardy's old rival, D-Von Dudley would say that he loved the match before Jeff would tease him about their TLC days and D-Von would say that that is never happening again and he's happy to be a producer.

The rivalry between Sheamus and Jeff Hardy is not over yet and while the two men have agreed to meet in a Bar Fight, Jeff's brother, Matt Hardy recently said on social media that he is concerned that the storyline is going to put unnecessary pressure on Jeff as he continues to legitimately battle his demons and his history with substance abuse.
