Vinny Marseglia Credits Spike Dudley For Helping Him Improve As A Wrestler

Vinny is ready for Friday.

One-third of the Ring Of Honor faction 'The Kingdom's' Vinny Marseglia along with his brethren Matt Taven and TK O'Ryan have been aiming to rid of the conspiracy in ROH and with the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships in their possession The Kingdom is looking to start from the bottom and climb to the top of the ROH mountain.

Marseglia has been with Ring Of Honor for six years and has been a member of revamped version of The Kingdom for two. Marseglia began training to be a pro wrestler in 2009 and shortly after became a student under the tutelage of former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Spike Dudley in Massachusetts at Spike's 'The Lock-Up' wrestling school. During an interview with 'Mirror Sports'' Tony Quant, Marseglia shared his experience training with Spike Dudley.

"Spike Dudley saw me locally and said that I have potential and asked to help me. At that time I was trying and he was keen to help me. I continued to work locally and then Matt Taven, who was at that time about a year ahead of me convinced me to go down there." He continued, "Spike was great and he broke me down and built me back up. I had no idea on psychology in wrestling and was blown away with how smart he was and what he knew. The thing I loved most about him though was that he was honest. I remember the first time he asked me to do a match in training and afterwards he ripped it apart and said it sucked. You need that and it always keeps you level."

This Friday at Ring Of Honor's 'Best In The World' PPV, 'The Kingdom' will be defending their ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Titles against 'Los Ingobernables de Japon' members EVIL, BUSHI, and SANADA. Vinny stated that he enjoys working the wrestlers from New Japan because it provides him with the opportunity to adapt and learn a different style of wrestling.

"I love working the New Japan guys because you can adapt and learn more about their style. L.I.J. is the perfect team - this is going to be a wild match. I also owe BUSHI one as during the last War of the Worlds tour, I was covered in green mist for about a week." Vinny said. "I owe BUSHI and I think it's time for a blood-filled balloon. I am excited, the whole show looks like a stacked show. Also, it is in a new venue in Baltimore, which is a bigger arena and I am excited about that. It just shows that ROH is growing even bigger."
