Wade Barrett Clarifies He Was Given Personal Time Off, Booked Time Off Nine Months Ago
Wade Barrett has clarified his status moving forward.
PWInsider reported that WWE announcer Wade Barrett would be “off the road” indefinitely, though no reason was specified.
Some took that as Barrett being done as an announcer, which was never reported.
Barrett took to social media to clarify his status.
“WWE have kindly given me a couple of weeks off for personal time (booked nine months ago), and then I’m back to business as usual. A complete non-story. The end,” he wrote.
I usually ignore BS reports like this, but it’s causing needless hate to be spewed towards people I work with.

Michael Cole stated on Friday’s WWE SmackDown that he and Corey Graves would be the announce team on the blue brand for the coming months.
It is unknown when Barrett will return to his position.
