This wouldn't be the first time Wale has appeared on WWE television in one way or another. Wale was on an episode of SmackDown Live back in 2017, hosting a rap battle between The New Day and The Usos, and an episode of 205 Live in 2018 when he did commentary for a match between TKP and Noam Dar.

The October 2 show, which will see both hours of NXT be televised on the USA Network, has three title matches scheduled including an NXT Championship match between Adam Cole and Matt Riddle.

Fightful will have live coverage of NXT as well as a post-show podcast to follow covering both NXT and AEW.
