WALTER Shares His Thoughts About Tyler Bate Heading Into Their PROGRESS World Title Match At 'Hello Wembley'

Can Bate overcome the odds?

Earlier this month after successfully defending the PROGRESS World Championship at a ' wXw and PROGRESS' joint show, the champion WALTER soon found out who was next in line to challenge him for the title and it was none other than the first-ever WWE United Kingdom Champion Tyler Bate. The two will do battle in just a few hours in the main event of 'Hello Wembley' at the SSE Arena and this show will be the biggest independent wrestling event in the U.K. in thirty years.

A few weeks ago upon finding out that Tyler Bate would be challenging him for the PROGRESS World Championship, WALTER spoke with the 'Daily Star' and shared his thoughts on his 'Hello Wembley' opponent.

"Tyler is a phenomenal athlete and pro wrestler. He is only 21-years-old and we all can only imagine what the future will have in store for him." WALTER continued, "I also respect his high Pro Wrestling IQ. That being said; even though he is more mature than his age in the ring, I don’t think he is outside of it. He portrays himself in a way that I cannot respect, because I think he does not take it seriously enough at times. His time will come, but it won’t be at Wembley.”
