War Games Will Not Have A Roof On The Cage

This isn't the War Games that you remember.

In a media call to the press this afternoon hyping the bout on Saturday, Triple H mentioned that the War Games bout will not have a roof on the cage, unlike the ones from WCW that did have the roof. Hunter mentioned that the style had changed, mentioning that without the cage there is a possibility to do more moves off the cage. They don't think they changed the concept by removing the cage.

But that isn't the only change going down for this match -- they've also changed the way people will enter the bout. Three teams will battle in the match, unlike the usual two (though WCW did do a three way bout as well). All of the teams will be contained inside separate shark cages, with three representatives from each team starting things off inside the structure. After five minutes, the remaining members of one team will be released from their cage and can enter the match. After another three minutes pass by, the next team can enters. After five more minutes, the final members of the last team will be allowed to enter.

War Games will take place at NXT Takeover: War Games on Saturday night, with The Authors of Pain and Roderick Strong, The Undisputed Era and Sanity battling it out inside the structure.
