- Tonight's show opened with CM Punk and FTR defeating Max Caster and Gunn Club. After the match, Punk spoke about the upcoming AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door event and challenged someone to step up to him, which brought out Hiroshi Tanahashi.

- Johnny Elite's open challenge was answered by a returning Miro, who said that he is coming for redemption and to take the home of his God. He would defeat Johnny via submission.

- The Jericho Appreciation Society came out to celebrate their win at Double or Nothing but were interrupted by Eddie Kingston, who challenged them to a Blood & Guts match for later this month. The answer was originally no, but after Ortiz snuck into the ring a cut off a chunk of Jericho's hair he agreed. Before that match happens, though, Jericho will face Ortiz in a Hair vs. Hair match.

- Footage was shown of Sonjay Dutt, Jay Lethal, and Satnam Singh attacking Samoa Joe following his match at Double or Nothing and targeting his injured shoulder.

- In 10-Man Tag Team action, the Young Bucks, reDRagon, and Hikuleo defeated Jurassic Express, Christian Cage, Darby Allin, and Matt Hardy.

- Swerve Strickland was taking care of business tonight in LA, even being presented with a one-of-a-kind jacket by Jeff Hamilton.

- Athena believes she will be the one to take the TBS Title from Jade Cargill. The Champion, on the other hand, won't agree to fight her yet. Instead, Athena will first have to take on Kiera Hogan this Friday in her first AEW match.

- After his victory, Wardlow was served with a class-action lawsuit on behalf of the American Arena Security Professionals for all of the powerbombs they've had to endure the last number of weeks.

- Ruby Soho and Toni Storm defeated Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter in a Tag Team match, exacting a bit of revenge for their respective losses the past couple of weeks.

- A handful of celebrities were in attendance tonight including Vince Vaughn, Paul Walter Hauser, and Macaulay Culkin.

- In the main event, Jon Moxley defeated Daniel Garcia. This just a few days after both men participated in Anarchy in the Arena at Double or Nothing.
