Wardlow: I'm Going To Keep The Short Hair For A While, Everyone Seems To Enjoy It

On the December 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, Wardlow not only failed to regain the AEW TNT Championship from Samoa Joe, but he lost a piece of his hair after the bout.

Joe cut off Wardlow's ponytail, adding further humiliation after defeating him. Wardlow was off television for just over a month before returning on the February 1 episode of AEW Dynamite to save Darby Allin from the wrath of Joe.

Speaking to Busted Open about his short hair, Wardlow said, "Initially, I thought I was going to (grow it back), but it might have been a little blessing in disguise because it's been quite the hit with everyone. I'm enjoying it, everyone else seems to like it. I think I'm going to keep the short hair for a while. Eventually, yes, I will grow it all out, but for now I'm going to rock the short hair for a little bit."

Elsewhere during the interview, Wardlow discussed trying to regain the momentum he had after AEW Double or Nothing 2022. You can find his full comments by clicking here.

Wardlow will have another chance to regain the AEW TNT Title at AEW Revolution when he faces Samoa Joe once again. Fans can check out the current lineup for AEW Revolution by clicking here.
