Dream opponents: “Kenny Omega is at the top of that list. People say he’s the best in the world, so why not start there? I don’t want to be just a big guy. I’m not just size. I’m not just a look. I can go. I think the way you test that is going with Kenny Omega. I would really like to have another shot at Cody Rhodes and ‘Hangman’ Adam Page, just because I have two L’s from them that I would like to correct.”
- Edge spoke to Sports Illustrated about adding authenticity to his character upon returning:
“This incarnation of Edge is the closest to Adam yet. If we go out there and try to be this angry, tough couple, then there’s only so much there. When you see us out there having fun, that translates. The audience gets that, and hopefully keeps it from ever being cringy. Hopefully that makes it fun for the audience, too.”

He said it on Raw, he was like, ‘We weren’t in the place to have that match.’ I wasn’t. But winning the title and having the run I’ve had the past few years, I think all those things enabled it and put me at that top level, so now he focuses on that match and looks at the match a little different now.”
