Warner Bros Discovery Issues Statement Saying They Had No Involvement In Brody King Not Appearing AEW Dynamite

Warner Bros Discovery shuts down the rumors.
After pinning MJF and garnering ‘Fuck ICE’ chants on the February 4 episode of AEW Dynamite, Brody King did not appear on the February 11 episode of the show. After the show, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claimed that people above Tony Khan made the call to keep King off the show to avoid a repeated instance of the ‘Fuck ICE’ chants.
That report has now been debunked by Warner Bros Discovery, who issued an official statement to Fightful on the matter.
“Warner Bros. Discovery did not have any involvement in Brody King’s upcoming AEW schedule. Any speculation to the contrary is categorically false. Brody is scheduled to appear during the next AEW event, which will air this Saturday on TNT and HBO Max”
