WBD CEO David Zaslav Says Max Will Add Sports And News 'Soon'

More programming could be coming to Max "soon."

During their second quarter earnings reports, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav stated sports and news programming will be coming “soon” to Max. Zaslav didn't give a timeline and AEW was not mentioned in his comments.

"We’re also a global leader in sports, including great sports rights from many of the top leagues in the U.S. that, in many cases, run through 2028 and beyond. We have the best digital and social sports platform for younger fans in Bleacher Report and we have significant digital rights in the U.S. that we’re not currently deploying but plan to in the future and that has a real chance to create meaningful strategic value," he said (via Seeking Alpha).

AEW Dynamite airs on TBS while AEW Rampage and AEW Collision air on TNT. AEW PPV events air on Bleacher Report.

The only AEW content on Max is currently AEW All Access.
