Wild Boar talks about his NXT release.
Wild Boar was one of many NXT UK Superstars to be released following the announcement of NXT Europe’s impending launch. Wild Boar was also one of the few Superstars to confirm his release from NXT UK and now, he is speaking to PWMania about what he's looking forward to outside of WWE and some of the wrestlers he's looking forward to getting a chance to step in the ring with.
“Being under contract afforded me a lot of good things. When I had that injury they really helped me out over at WWE. I couldn’t have asked for better care. I’m very grateful for my time there. On the flip side of that, there wasn’t a lot of chance for me to wrestle how I really wanted to,” says Wild Boar. “Now I’m hustling to get work and show the world what I’ve become in the past 4 and a half years.”
One wrestler who Wild Boar wants to go up against is JONAH, the former NXT North American Champion known as Bronson Reed.
“I’ve been watching his stuff for the past couple of years since he was unfortunately released, now he’s killing it,” says Wild Boar. “I’d love to wrestle him.”
It is also noted in the interview that Boar would like to work with Jeff Cobb and Bullet Club’s El Phantasmo.
