Will Ospreay Comments On Aussie Open Signing With AEW, Whether It Would Persuade Him To Sign There

Will Ospreay says his door will always be open to Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis).

On the May 24 episode of AEW Dynamite, Kyle Fletcher unsuccessfully challenged Orange Cassidy for the AEW International Championship. After the match, Tony Khan announced that Aussie Open had signed with the company. Davis is currently out with an injury, and Fightful Select reported that Khan paid for Davis' surgery, though the duo wasn't signed to AEW at the time.

Ospreay, Aussie Open's United Empire stablemates, has wrestled for AEW on multiple occasions, and many fans continue to link him to the company, especially with his NJPW contract coming up in 2024. Speaking with Dark Puroresu Flowsion, Ospreay was asked whether Aussie Open signing with AEW would persuade him to sign there as well:

“They know my situation [and] I gotta do what’s best for me, but whether nothing changes or everything changes. If they ever needed me, my door will always open to them," Ospreay said.
