Will Ospreay ‘Doing Great’ Six Weeks After Surgery, ‘January 2026’

Will Ospreay continue his road to recovery.

Saminder Singh of the Body Alignment Clinic in Rainham, Essex posted an update on AEW star Will Ospreay on Instagram, writing, “@aew Allstar @willospreay 6 weeks post op and doing great! Still some way to go with but we’re on the right road. Jan 2026”

The former AEW International Champion was stretchered out of the ring following an attack by Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) and Gabe Kidd at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in August.

After the lights out steel cage match, the Death Riders wrapped a chair around Ospreay’s neck and stomped down, further injuring his already tender neck.

Ospreay underwent surgery in September.

Fightful wishes Ospreay the best in his recovery.
