Will Ospreay Explains How Important Callum Newman Being By His Side At AEW All In Was For Him

Will Ospreay comments on Callum Newman being at his corner during AEW All In.
A day before AEW All In, Will Ospreay asked Callum Newman to be at his corner during his AEW World Title match against Kenny Omega when he appeared at the RevPro 14-Year Anniversary Show.
During the post-show media scrum for AEW All In, Ospreay talked about how important Callum being by his side was for him.
“People need to understand me and Callum are always going to have fallouts. We’re brothers. We share different philosophies of what wrestling is. I don’t like what he’s done with the United Empire. I hate the idea of outside interference. The moment we set up the United Empire, I told the boys, ‘I don’t need you to get involved in my matches. I can do this by myself. If I can’t do it by myself, I shouldn’t be in these positions.’ Callum, on the other hand, will try any way to get the job done. Regardless of what we’re going through, because there is talks that we still need to have, he’s my little brother. I’ve known him since he was 15 years old. I’ve looked after him. I’ve kept him in school. I was able to get him a job at New Japan. He’s super talented.
I was lucky enough to be there where he won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at 23 years old. The youngest kid to ever flipping do it, man. On the most important night of my life, I know that we’ve got problems and I know that there are things that we need to talk about, but I need my little brother on that night. Thankfully, he was there for me. I think we’ll probably end up going to the bar later and just be like, ‘All right, cards on the table. Let’s have a chat.’ Let’s hope it goes well.”
