Will Ospreay has his eyes set on a world record ahead of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
Last month, Ospreay would make an announcement that he would be taking some time off to heal a neck injury, but he hoped that he would make it back in time for this year’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view. On this past Wednesday’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Ospreay would return and lay out the challenge for a five on five Lights Out Steel Cage match at the event with The Death Riders.
In a new social media post on August 16th, Ospreay eyed a world record for noise inside an indoor arena for his entrance at the event, hoping that the home town crowd in the United Kingdom will roar along to the words of his theme song, Elevated at Forbidden Door.
What’s the world record for loudest indoor arena crowd roar ?? 👀

‘The Aerial Assassin’ will be joined by Hiroshi Tanahashi, Darby Allin, Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi, while The Death Riders’ team will be made up of Jon Moxley, Gabe Kidd, Claudio Castagnoli, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson.
Ospreay recently revealed that he was ‘extremely ill’ during one of his classic NJPW G1 Climax bouts. You can read more about that here.
