Will Ospreay: I Genuinely Have No Words. Thank You So Much For Every Little Bit Of Support

Will Ospreay is indeed alive after AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

The closing scene of Forbidden Door was Will Ospreay being attended to by medical officials and taken out on a stretcher after being attacked by Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli. The Death Rider duo wrapped a chair around Ospreay’s neck and stomped down, adding further injury to Ospreay’s already banged up neck.

On social media, Ospreay broke his silence, writing, “I genuinely have no words. Thank you so much for every little bit of support. Love you guys so much @AEW.”

Ospreay teamed with Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi and Darby Allin to defeat Moxley, Castagnoli, Gabe Kidd, and the Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) in a Lights Out Steel Cage Match at Forbidden Door.

The London native was soaking in the reception from the fans after the match when he was attacked by Claudio.

Ahead of Forbidden Door, Ospreay opened up regarding his neck issues, saying he was told they couldn’t get worse by wrestling, but admitted it needed to get corrected. A surgery date and timeframe for his return is currently unknown.
