Will Ospreay Poses With AEW World Title, Swerve Strickland Warns Him On 6/12 AEW Dynamite

Two Belts Billy got a test run.

On the June 12 episode of AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay beat Rey Fenix to retain the AEW International Championship. AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland watched the match from up close, as he wanted to scout his challenger at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. In the closing moments, Ospreay stared down Swerve and said AEW was his house. He then hit the Swerve Stomp and the Hidden Blade for the win.

Strickland entered the ring after the bout and talked some trash, as he said Ospreay was not strong enough to hold both titles. Ospreay smoothly took the title off of Strickland and held both championships. Strickland got his title back and told Ospreay he was lucky that they were still friends, as he would have put anyone else who did that in the grave.
