Will Ospreay Reacts To AEW All In's Turnstile Count After Getting Tattoo Of Paid Attendance

Will Ospreay says getting a tattoo was hard for him, and now he has a controversial number on his body.

At AEW All In, Ospreay defeated Chris Jericho in a high-profile match. Competing at Wembley Stadium clearly meant a lot to Ospreay, as he commemorated the bout with a tattoo. The ink included the paid attendance of AEW All In, which was announced as 81,035.

However, the turnstile count for the event was revealed to be 72,265, per the Brent Borough Council. The new number accounts for the number of individuals who entered the venue. It does not factor in the amount of tickets that were sold or the amount of people that bought tickets and did not attend the event.

On September 13, Ospreay took to social media to respond to the report about the turnstile count.

"Bruv, you cannot make this fucking shit up. I am currently in Japan. I’ve had no fucking sleep, I am tired. This is the worst fucking day of my life [laughs]. Do you know how hard it was for me to get a tattoo? My mom fucking hates them, bruv. They announced it to everyone. They announced it as 81,000 people. I’ve got this fucking thing on my arm [laughs]," Ospreay said

In the post, Ospreay also wrote that he swears he's okay.

Sources say a typical AEW event has a drop count that is about 80% to 90% of total utilization, so AEW Alll In's turnstile count falls within that range.

Ospreay recently said he drops classics by farting. Check out his comments here.
