Will Ospreay Says Surgery Was A Success
Will Ospreay has undergone successful surgery.
Ospreay posted on Instagram, “The road will be long, but it’ll be worth it to see you all again. Surgery was a success.”
It is unknown how long he will be sidelined. AEW announced him as out indefinitely following AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
The former AEW International Champion was stretchered out of the ring following an attack by Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) and Gabe Kidd at Forbidden Door.
After the London native and his team were victorious in a lights out steel cage match, he was attacked as he tried to soak in the moment. Moxley and Castagnoli wrapped a chair around Ospreay’s neck and stomped down, adding further injury to his already banged up neck.
