Will Ospreay & United Empire Pick Up Win In Six-Man Tag Match At NJPW Sakura Genesis

Ospreay is back in NJPW.

Ryōgoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo hosted New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Sakura Genesis on April 4th.

One of the advertised bouts was Yuya Uemura, Taichi, and El Desperado taking on United Empire (Will Ospreay, HENARE & Great-O-Khan). Ospreay and United Empire picked up the victory. Post-match, HENARE and O-Khan wanted to keep attacking their opponents, but Ospreay was not on board.

It was Ospreay’s first match for NJPW in Japan since February 2024, where United Empire lost a Steel Cage match to BULLET CLUB at NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka.

Ospreay is signed to All Elite Wrestling and is scheduled to challenge Jon Moxley for the Continental Championship at the Dynasty pay-per-view on April 12th.
