Will Ospreay’s reaction to Tony Khan paying for his neck surgery was one of gratitude and unswaying loyalty.

After AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in 2025, Ospreay would require neck surgery that would keep him out of action until AEW Revolution earlier this year, where he would make his return. Now, he is on the road to AEW All In, where he will challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship in his home country of England, at Wembley Stadium later this month.

While speaking during the first episode of a new series on AEW’s YouTube channel titled Rebuild & Destroy, Will Ospreay spoke about Tony Khan paying for his surgery, noting that he will ‘be a little soldier for him for the rest of his life.’

“Tony’s paid for the entire thing, which is crazy. I saw that bill. Oh my God, man. It costs more than my house in England. If you pay for that for my health, I’ll be a little soldier for him for the rest of my life.”
