Willie Mack Says Reports Of Him Turning Down New AEW Deal Are ‘Wrong’
Willie Mack is setting the record straight on his AEW deal.
On Tuesday night, Mack tweeted out, “When ya boy is about to become a homeless superhero because the booker doesn’t think he’s worth the money. #WhereTheBestWrestle. It’s like for 2 years straight I’d call every week and ask if you got anything for me? You signed right? You still getting paid right? I want to Wrestle.”
Fightful Select reported that Mack was put back on a tier zero deal, which is effectively a per-appearance deal.
PWInsider reported his existing AEW deal expired some time ago and that he was offered a new deal but opted not to sign it.
Mack replied to PWInsider’s report by stating, “When did I turn it down?” and a GIF of Charlie Murphy saying, “Wrong.”
